Guiding the journey through school and beyond
Starting secondary school is a big transition. Alongside new friendships and independence, many young people are navigating pressure, uncertainty, identity questions, family changes, and emotional ups and downs.
Travellers is built on a simple idea: life is a journey. There are smooth stretches, challenges, and unexpected turns and young people need the skills to navigate all of it.
Travellers provides early, practical support to help young people build resilience and confidence before challenges become overwhelming. It starts with a wellbeing survey and is followed by a 10-week programme.

Part 1
A confidential wellbeing survey
The whole Year 9 cohort completes a short 15-minute survey.
Schools get a clear picture of how each student is really doing, including the ones who’d usually fly under the radar.

Part 2
A 10-week small-group programme
8–10 students, two trained school staff, 90 minutes a week during school hours.
Built on Te Whare Tapa Whā, with practical tools drawn from ACT, CBT, and nervous-system informed practice. Whakataukī sit at the heart of every session.
